CHAPTER 16

Finlay came back after thirty days, clean but still in need of professional help. We’d only been married three months so far and things had fallen apart spectacularly. He was supposed to be helping run the zoo but never got out of bed before four in the afternoon.

Things finally came to a head one day when one of the young employees at the park approached me with fear in his eyes. He had something to tell me and I could tell it wasn’t good.

“I just saw John Finlay kissing Amber in the office,” he said.

“You’ve gotta be shitting me.”

Amber was supposed to be my secretary, running the front desk! She’d decorated everything for the wedding; who would have known she was going to decorate Finlay with her fat naked body? I ran into the office and the two of them were both acting like they were busy doing some other shit. I called them out on it, told them I knew what was going on, and left the room, trying to hold on to my dignity.

Finlay came running out, passed right by me, and found the employee who snitched on him and beat the hell out of him. I wasn’t sure what to do, but I was fed up. I decided it was time to let Finlay go, from my bedroom and my zoo. He didn’t take the news so well. The police had to get involved and Finlay was arrested for assault.

I neglected to mention, Amber was married, too. But that didn’t stop her from moving Finlay in with her and her husband over in Elmore City. I tried to warn him that Amber and Finlay were fucking, but the cuckold didn’t want to believe it. He said Finlay and Amber were just friends and I was just jealous because Finlay had left me.

All Finlay cared about was what felt good to stick his dick in, and let me tell you, he had no taste at all because I could probably come up with over seventy people Finlay had sex with that I know of.

Even though he was gone, I was still kept abreast of what was going on with him and Amber because his phone was connected to the office computer through iCloud. Every time he took a picture it came up on my computer. That’s how I found out Amber was pregnant, when they uploaded a video holding a ring over Amber’s belly to see if the baby would be a boy or girl.

Can you believe Amber spent nine months sleeping side by side with her husband, and he had no idea she was even pregnant? She was that overweight. She and Finlay went to Ardmore and had the baby, then brought it home and convinced her husband it was Finlay’s niece they had to take care of. Guess who had to man up and apologize to me in the Walmart parking lot once he found out who the dad was on the birth certificate? Finlay and Amber finally had to get a place of their own.
