We have spiritual battles as well as physical ones and we canât make it without wearing the whole armor of God.We are soldiers in the army of the Lord and He is our Captain, our defense, protector and our keeper. Weâre always going to face some kind of problems as long as we live here on this earth. God will see us through if we trust Him and lean on Him. We are to live holy and righteous and do whatâs right in His sight for Him to fight our battles. II Cor.10:4-6, For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds. Casting down imaginations and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ, having a readiness to revenge all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled. Donât be puffed up with pride and exalt yourself. Keep your spiritual sanity of mind and be obedient at all times to Christ Jesus and ready to serve Him at all times. Be instant in season and out of season to minister and testify of Him. Always inforce church discipline and never let evil imaginations enter into your mind and spirit. Be sure to keep the spiritual armor of God on to endure this life in order to enter into life eternal with Jesus Christ and all the saints of God. Ps.18:17, David said, The Lord delivered me from my strong enemy. What and who is your enemy? It could be people, sickness, troubles, poverty, financial problems or many other things. David said that He delivered me because He delighted in me. He said he ran through a troop and leaped over a wall all because of God who helped him. A troop is a large groop of soldiers and we know the wall was high. It doesnât matter how big your problems are or how small they may be God can still take care of them. He said He is our defense and deliverer. David knew that he could not have gotten the victory if God had not helped him and we canât either. God is love and He is power. Godâs ways are perfect and sure. Godâs Word is tried and is a buckler, which is a divine protector, to all who will trust Him. Itâs God who protects me and gives me strength and He makes my way perfect. We could never make our way perfect for we fail many times and get on the wrong way. David said that God had given him great deliverances, set him on high places and has shown mercy to me and not only me but His seed forever. I will give thanks to Him forever and sing praises to the Lord Thy great name. Ps.18:3, I will call upon the Lord who is worthy to be praised, so shall I be saved from my enemies. Put all of your trust in Him and totally depend on Him.
