My cock jerked thinking about how deep inside her body I was. Last night, all the memories of us being together flashed in my mind. Laying in the bed with her, I couldn’t resist touching her and feeling her on my fingers. She was always wet when I touched her.

She was my addiction. I missed everything about her. She was in my system, and there was nothing I could do to remove her, no matter how hard I tried.

She was a temptation I hadn’t been able to resist even when I knew sleeping with her could probably bring danger right to her doorstop.

I reached over, pulling her close to my body. Her breath caught, triggering my arousal that always seemed close to the surface when I was around her. In the light of day, I was sure she had some regrets, but as I told her last night, there was no going back.

We would both have to sleep in the bed we made. Next time, she would watch what she said when dealing with a man like me. Asking to have my baby had her tied to me for life.

“You good?” I asked, wanting to smile because I loved feeling my sons this close to me. All the night I stayed up watching her stomach. I was envious of how she was able to touch them while we were apart, and I wasn’t.

I rolled over and gazed at him. “You were never going to take no for an answer, were you?” she asked, staring directly at me.

“No,” I admitted. She wasn’t going anywhere and neither was I.

She gazed up at me. “You know you can’t take anything said during the heat of passion as sincere, right?”

I ignored her statement. She wasn’t reneging. Once again, she said what she said, and I was taking her word for it.

“We have to go. It’s not safe for us here,” I told her, stepping away from her because being this close to her made me want to walk her back to the room, lay her down on the bed, and finishing making up for all the lost months.

She frowned at me. “How are we going to leave from here if the place is surrounded?” she asked me.

I smiled at her. “We’re going to walk out the front door.”

She placed her hands on her hips, causing her stomach to protrude even more. She was absolutely breathtaking, and I was sure she didn’t even know it.

“Excuse me? I thought there were people out there waiting to kill us.”

“There are, but I have it under control.”

“You have it under control?” she asked, with skepticism bleeding through every word.

“You ready?” Michail asked, walking into the living room.

“I’m ready,” I told him, reaching for Lauren’s hand. She didn’t budge.

I raised my eyebrows.

“I’m scared.” I saw the fear in her eyes. I couldn’t blame her. She was not accustomed to violence the way me and my family were. This was new for her.

“Trust me, Lauren. My family and I won’t let anything happen to you.
