Cornstarch 2 tablespoons

Paprika 1 tablespoon

Soy sauce 2 tablespoons

Minced garlic cloves 2

Thinly sliced onion 1 cup

Beef top round steak 1 lb. (cut into strips of ¼ inch)

Butter 2 tablespoons

Cold water 1/3 cup

Medium green peppers 2 ( cut into thin strips)

Peeled and cut into small wedges fresh tomatoes 2

Cooked rice

Instructions:

Sprinkle the meat with paprika.

Melt the butter in a skillet on medium heat and brown the beef.

Add the garlic and broth and simmer it covered for half an hour.

Add the onion and green peppers.

Cover it and simmer for about 5 minutes. Combine the water, soy sauce, and cornstarch and stir it into the mixture of meat.

Cook while stirring until thickened and gently add tomatoes. Heat through and serve it over rice.
