Chapter 12

Ruby woke with her face buried against a warm chest. Cold seeped into her back, and she wriggled closer, throwing her leg over his to get closer. “Saying good morning.” He kissed up her jaw, and she gave up the fight. She had already crossed every line and committed every sin her family had ever raved against. She might as well enjoy it. She turned her head and caught his lips in a kiss. Her fingers grabbed at his hips and trailed up his back. Scars covered him in a mix of bumps and smooth skin, and she followed each mark, exploring the planes of his body until she could wrap her fingers in his hair.

“I need you. Please,” she gasped against his lips, and Peter’s eyes changed from dark to the wolf’s golden.

“Fuck, little Fox, you never have to beg for that.” He leaned down and kissed her again, and she opened for him, putting all the things she could never allow herself to voice into the kiss.

She wanted to pull her clothes off. She wanted to feel him against her skin, to have his lips explore her body, but even in her lust-filled mind, she realized that getting naked would probably lead to frostbite. Even with a werewolf above her.

“Next time,” she gasped as he kissed down her neck again. “I want this to happen in a bed.”

“Deal.” His deep chuckle sent puffs of warm air over her skin, and his big hand closed over her breast, teasing her with his touch.

She moved her hands down and grabbed his ass, pressing him tighter against her pussy, and even through her many layers, she felt his warmth and hardness.
