The Renaissance was full of scientific discoveries and inventions. The telescope and the microscope were both invented and improved during the Renaissance. People were learning how to make lenses, which helped people see the world around them better. Mechanical clocks were also invented, which helped people keep time better.
There were also scientific advances in warfare, such as the cannon and the musket . Both ended the warfare of the Middle Ages, pushing Europe into the modern age.
Science during the Renaissance was very important. Many people thought up new ways to look at the world and invented new things to make life easierâlike the wrench and the screwdriver. Not everyone was right about everything, but that is part of the learning process. What really matters is that these scientists worked hard to help us understand the world better, and we still use many of their ideas and inventions today.
