On your left leg, raise your right arm to the hour mark.

Reach 3 and then 6 o'clock.

Repeat on the other side while standing on your right leg.

Following are some advice and safety measures for this exercise:

Raise your chest, adopt a powerful stance, and keep your eyes fixed on one thing at eye level.

Reach out as far as you are comfortable doing.

If reaching 6 o'clock is uncomfortable, stop at 3 o'clock.

2.13 Down Dog

This exercise increases stability when inverted (head below the hips.) Here are the steps you need to take:

Stand with your back to the chair's base.

Raise your arms in the air as you inhale.

Put your hands on the chair's base as you exhale (bend knees if needed).

Lift the hips and slowly walk your feet back until you are in the down-dog position.

To exit the position, carefully move forward with your feet until your body is folded forward.

Move the body up one vertebra at a time to get back to standing.
