It was safe to say that Evan putting it on me wasnât beginners luck. I mean, god damn. A sista was finding it hard to walk after a session like that. Granted, his skills had always been promising. Sure, when I first met him, he had known next to nothing about a cisgender womanâs body; we were all allowed to be wet behind the ears at some point. Once I let him know I wasnât going to pursue a guy who couldnât please me, he whipped himself into shape quick. Iâd like to think I could take credit for him graduating from rhythm-less thruster to full-on master lovemaker. I should be charging money for this shit.
Oh, thatâs right, I do. I literally get paid to nudge people into breaking their comfort zones in the bedroom. The only difference between high school me and Modern magazine me was how much more comfortable I was with my body now. I couldnât believe there was ever a time I used to hate being tall.
It was impossible to shrink myself at five eight when all I wanted to do was hide. It didnât help that all the girls Iâd ever been attracted to, where the attraction was mutual, further made me feel like I was being mounted. Most girls were short especially all the girls I went out with. This wasnât the case for all bi- women, but being Dominican, there was this pressure to be small. I hadnât inherited my motherâs petite frame, so I became a lifetime target of being masculinized by my family members because of my stature, something that only got worse when I came out.
I knew it was wrong, but Evan being taller than me was the first time Iâd understood why people liked taller men. It wasnât end all be all, but I think shorter people took for granted how protected you felt in the arms of someone bigger than you. Which was why short women didnât know how selfish it looked to take all the tall partners. Umm, can you save some for the girls who donât want to wear flats every time they go on a date?
Luz. Chill. You not supposed to be talking about how protected you feel in someoneâs arms and shit; you supposed to making this about sex! And even then, you should be able to focus on more than just the outstanding ability that was Evanâs pelvis. Despite my co-workers asking and texting their concerns about me coming back forty-five minutes late from an already long lunch break, when Iâd come back to the office, I wasnât fooling anyone. They all knew it had to do with the green-eyed stallion that they saw whisking me away the other day.
Adult Evan? I actually liked this version of him. He was passionate in a way that went beyond just centering all that energy into one hobby like he did when I first met him. He was confident with the perfect balance of alpha and gentleman, and I couldnât forget funny and fine as hell.
