Greetings from Milwaukee, birthplace of the modern typewriter, if a typewriter can be considered modern anymore. This place is famous for its beer, of course—I mean, they named their baseball team the Brewers. Also President Teddy Roosevelt was shot here before giving a speech. The bullet lodged in his chest, but instead of going to the hospital, he gave the speech anyway. Talk about guts. Just goes to show—no matter how badly the odds are stacked against you, you don’t give up.

Seeing the sailboats on the lake reminds me that we all need some sand and sun pronto. Start thinking about where you want to go. Galveston. The Carolinas. The Jersey Shore. It’s all good. There’s nothing like standing on the edge of the water and looking out over the horizon. It makes you believe that things can last forever.
