St. Louis Cardinals/Busch Stadium

It should be pretty clear why they call it Busch Stadium! But, it wasn't always just the Anheuser-Busch name. In 1953 it was named simply after Gussie Busch, obviously the brewing magnate, but since that time this is actually the third St. Louis venue to bear the name "Busch" Stadium. And yes, of course, Anheuser Busch paid a big fee for the naming rights.

This "Busch" Stadium opened in 2006, and what's funny is that the highest attendance ever to see a sporting event there is not a Cardinal game. Rather, it was a soccer match between Chelsea and Manchester.

Originally the franchise was known as the St. Louis Browns back in 1883.

They've won 11 World Series titles and 19 NL Pennants. The Cardinals signed a deal with Fox Sports Midwest in 2015 that doesn't take effect until 2018, which on the surface sounds benign. But, through the year 2032 the deal is worth $1 billion, with a "B."
