Composer Giuseppe Tartini had a dream in which the Devil presented himself to him. Tartini gave the Devil a violin and the Devil played a solo so beautiful it surpassed anything he's ever heard in his life. When Tartini awoke he tried to recreate the piece and composed the “Devils Trill Sonata.”
