The order of a poker hand is the most common stack. You must decide how many players there are in the game before you stack it. For two players, the even-numbered cards must make up a winning hand. For three players, every third card must add up to a winning hand. Frequently the other hands are progressively better from one player to another.

Pick up the two hands. Keep track of the jack, and move it to the top. Do a false shuffle retaining it on top. This time start the dealing with the person who won last time. He will get the jack. Deal his opponent a card and then stop. Tell her that she gets to win. Turn to the loser and deal one more card. Pick up the card you just dealt him and say, “Do you want that card?” If he says yes, give it to him. If he says no, give it to her.

Deal him another and let him choose. Continue until he has five cards. All the rest go to his opponent. Have him turn over his cards. Ask his opponent to turn over her cards. She will have won.
