Easy. Say the phrase “shared silence.” Just be with the phrase and with any feelings that come up as you say it.

Easy. Say, “I can be easy with shared silence.”

Medium. When and where have you experienced shared silence with another person? What was your experience like? If you experienced it as powerfully positive, why do you think that might have been the case?

High bar. Get a hypothetical client in mind. The two of you are chatting, and something comes up that requires that both of you stop and think for a moment. How might you frame your invitation to share some silence?
