The Face

Make a row of dark fur lines starting at the base of the ears and fanning out as they move up along the inside edges. With very short, fine lines, indicate all the darker areas of your cat's face. Bring out the bridge of the cat's nose by painting a dark line on either side running from the tip of the nose to the inside corners of the eyes. Also be sure to outline the eyes and the tip of the nose. Add definition to the curve of the muzzle by encircling both sides with small, spoke-like strokes. Next make three sets of horizontal, dotted lines across the muzzle on each side. These indicate the follicles for the whiskers.
