Rather than look at what we didn’t have, I decided to look at what we did have to offer. We were a creative team of sales, designers, fabricators, and installers. We first began building some basic Plexiglas face shields and barriers. Then as reopening protocols were being put into place, we saw an opportunity to work with restaurants and businesses to design and build COVID safety barriers with decor that matched their existing spaces.

Word got out about Curran and his team’s special skill set, and soon they had new projects underway. They’d figured out how to pivot to respond to new opportunities. One of their most notable projects was installing Plexiglas barriers in all four locker rooms along with the press boxes and broadcasting booths at the Miami Dolphins’ stadium. They created a new product line for a new type of customer. The Dolphins’ stadium required high-end finishes and a timely install for the NFL to approve their season start. “We also began doing some commercial interior design projects and launched our own brand of high-end, contemporary furniture called Infinitum USA. This allowed us to create a vertical strategy for commercial interior design. We design modern spaces and fulfill with our own furniture and decor,” Curran reflects thoughtfully.

In the fall of 2021, Curran and his team began to see a steady flow of event business. Yet, they’ve not abandoned their new venture and have continued to grow that division, even expanding into Los Angeles. One thing is clear: “My team is the reason we made it through this, and I wish I could express how grateful I am to them for not only getting us through this pandemic but making us an even more successful company on the other side.”

Without his community’s support, partnership, and collaboration, the organization might not have survived, they never would have been able to adapt and expand the business and respond to the market’s changing needs.
