Interesting Facts on the 2015/2016 Season

Tottenham’s average attendance at White Hart Lane during the 2015/2016 season was 34,947.

The 2015/2016 season was Tottenham’s 24 th season in the Premier League, and their 38 th successive season in the English top flight.

Before the season started Spurs played in the Aldi Cup, losing 2-0 to Real Madrid (4 August 2015) and then beating AC Milan 2-0 (5 August 2015).

Tottenham finished the League season with a goal difference of plus 34.

Tottenham’s lowest home attendance of the season was against FC Qarabag on 17 September 2015, watched by 26,463 spectators.

Spurs lost only six Premier League games during the 2015/2016 season; three at home and three away (two defeats came in the last two matches of the season).

Tottenham fielded the youngest team in the Premier League during the 2015/2016 season with an average of 24 years and 39 days against Manchester City in September, winning the match 4-1.

Spurs drew with five clubs both home and away in the Premier League during the 2015/2016 season - Arsenal (2-2 at home and 1-1 away), Chelsea (0-0 at home and 2-2 away), Everton (0-0 at home and 1-1 away), Liverpool (0-0 at home and 1-1 away) and West Bromwich Albion (1-1 at home and 1-1 away).
