Two wrong turns wasn’t too bad, I figured, as I steered my wheelie suitcase into my flight’s waiting area. I sat down and looked around. The sweet-faced woman next to me was reading a book. Or maybe she was sleeping with her eyes open. At our age, that sometimes happened. Most of the other people in the boarding area were working on laptops. Not something I understood. Computers were fine. I had to use one managing the roller rink. Payroll and concession stand orders were easier to do through e-mail. But after about a half hour of pecking out the right keys, my fingers got stiff. Not my idea of a good time.
