“That’s one kind of dog,” Ms. Nancy said.

“Woof!” Doctor Dawn said.

“I’d prefer people to see me kind of different to that,” Rexy said.

Another snap of her fingers and Doctor Dawn became a friendly husky with black and white fur and bright blue eyes.

“I like it!” Rexy said. “Now that is an animal with style and flare, much like me.”

Ms. Nancy pointed at Rexy and said, “You got it!”

There was a POOF and Doctor Dawn became herself again. Rexy now looked like Rexy to me.

“What do you see?” Ms. Nancy asked.

“I see a cute T. Rex,” Zeke said.

“I do too,” I agreed.

Rexy turned his head and looked himself up and down. “Yep, I still look just like me,” he said with a toothy grin. “I am very good looking.”

“Looking like a husky to me,” one of the scientists said.

“Agreed,” Doctor Dawn said, “maybe a Siberian Husky.”

“Or perhaps an Alaskan Husky?” Doctor Guy said.

“Can you hear him talk?” Ms. Nancy asked.

“Yes,” I said.

“Of course,” Zeke said.

“I can hear myself talk,” Rexy said.

“Sounds like barking to me,” Doctor Guy said. He smiled. “Fascinating…” Doctor Guy walked up close to Ms. Nancy. “We would love to study your power someday. What do you say?”
