"I had it cleaned and repaired for you." Nick says. I notice he is pointing to my dress that is now hanging up on the back of the closet door.

"Wow, thanks but you didn't have to do that." I reply. I walk over to the dress and lightly touch the sleeve where the rip once was. You can't even tell it was ever there. The dress looks brand new. I thought for sure it was ruined. I actually would have been okay with that too. The dress is beautiful but I hate everything it stands for.

"Now you can still wear it." He whispers. His voice sounds off and I wonder if it is sadness I hear in his tone. Nick gets up from his chair to stand next to me. I can feel the heat from his body while he hovers just inches away. My entire body wants to move closer to him. It almost seems like his heat is acting like some sort of gravitational pull. I am not sure why I am acting like such a slut around all of these men. But it is like each one of them is calling to me, and consequences be damned, I want to go.
