Hi Jacques, I can promise you there is no ‘catch’ per se, I merely want to meet my living expenses and lavish attention upon a lover whilst I finish a novel. I am an extremely honest person and I daresay I could find someone to support me by the usual means, but I would prefer to be upfront about why I want a relationship. Interestingly enough, I feel incredibly mature to be doing such a thing – it is a first for me and it is good to know my lateral thinking is backed up by a mind that is truly open, rather than some of the minds that pretend to be. The ad has received an extraordinary amount of attention, but it has been relatively easy to sort the wheat from the chaff (so to speak!). There have been several late replies from people OS such as yourself and I am almost tempted to delay my choice another week, especially as Easter may interfere. LOL! You are absolutely right about ‘evolutionary biology’ – I am beginning to realise the Darwinian survival of the fittest is very much alive and well, no matter how progressed we think we are . . . As for discretion, it is both part of my professional ethics and reputation ;0 Ideally, the arrangement would last several months as that is the minimum time I judge my novel will take to finish. At this stage, I am really hoping to have someone start next week, however I will get in touch if arrangements fall through. Cheers, Holly
