“Ahem,” a voice sounded out. “AHEM!”

“Still not coming to?” Another voice asked.

“What—what? Where am I?” I asked, rubbing at my eyes. Bright light prevented me from opening them fully. But in a moment, when I was able to do so, I peeled open my eyes and saw nothing but purple sky. The color of this planet’s atmosphere. Tilting my head off to the side, I took sight of Lana and the other women. She was dabbing at her mouth with a small towel. There was no bed anywhere to be found. Nothing of the sort.

“Were we just—” I say aloud, not really to anyone.

“Oh no…” Lana laughs. “That was just part of my charm spell. None of what you think you saw was real.”

“Then why are you wiping your mouth?” I posited, sticking a hand down to feel my shaft. I was certain a dob of jizz was leaking out of the end.

“Oh, I didn’t say we didn’t do anything… just that the visions you think you saw were not real,” Lana shrugged.

“Then what did you give me? What powers?” I asked.

“Can’t tell yet?” She giggled. “Kida, we need you to give him your brainpower – kid isn’t very bright is he? Good cock, though,” she winked.

“Funny,” I rolled my eyes. “I guess you must be the group’s actual bitch.”

I smiled, anticipating another rush from the girl – like the one Thessa did previously after I insulted her with the same word. Only this time… nothing happened. Lana just laughed again. A deep, throaty laugh. The kind you do when overtly mocking someone.

“I take it you’ve had a lay in the hay with Thessa, then,” Lana smirked. “I’m not so easy.”

“But apparently, you just sucked me off after having met me for less than two minutes…” I raised an eyebrow.

“Anything to save the Zaftigs,” came her retort.

“The who?” I questioned her.

This caused Lana to laugh again. “You’ve not been told even the basics? Void, honestly now?”

Void chirped in, “Hey… we just got attacked and had not much time for small talk.”

“Not small anything, apparently,” Lana smirked, flashing her eyes down to my crotch region.

“What did I get then, if not a case of the bitches?” I asked.

“She is what you might call hypnotic,” Void said.

“You can say that again…” I sighed, letting my eyes drift over Lana’s sexual figure.

“Yes, anyway… She possesses the power of charm and hypnosis. A dream eater. A memory implanter. Lana proves very useful, being our infiltrator. I may be able to extract information from the minds of others, but she is able to seduce and beguile, gaining their trust and power. She can enter their brain… plant false memories and establish fears or paranoias. Lana is one dangerous woman. Thessa might kill you with a single blow across the head, but Lana would make you suffer. Your mind would be tormented and plagued by unspeakable visions, far worse than death.”

“Don’t forget Void,” Thessa piped in, “I can also kill him slowly.”

This time she held up a hunter’s knife, tilting it back and forth to reflect in the sunlight.
