Bring groups back, but allow slower groups to finish

It is common to hear students say, “But we aren’t finished yet.” It is important that we extend the time if most groups are not finished. However, if it is just one or two slower groups, allow them to finish while beginning the next thing you are going to teach with everyone else. This way the students that are finished are not bored waiting for the other groups, and the slower groups aren’t mad because they didn’t have enough time. It is really the only way to please everyone within group dynamics.
