We tended to have sex at night, because we were busy working during the day. It’s different now, because my partner comes [to the nursing home] in the daytime. We’re not together at night, and so our sex therefore is an afternoon matinee. And the fact that we are older, we’re more measured in what we want. We know how to pleasure each other directly now, as my husband and I did not necessarily know then. The pleasure is different because the body is different. Not better or worse but different.”
