Willy arrived on Opal in a bad mood. He’d had bad luck trying to bed female passengers and he didn’t enjoy most of the entertainments on the ship since most of them were social and he’d never been much for hanging around with strangers. Worse, most of the people on board weren’t the type of people he was used to being around.

He found a room near the port and then found a place where he could observe passengers arriving without being seen. He unpacked his pulse rifle and figured out a way to carry it concealed to and from his apartment and the ambush spot. The room was furnished, so he didn’t have to set up “housekeeping”. There were a few places to eat nearby and his expense account was more than enough for him to dine well.
