Eye Adjustments

When it comes to speed reading, your eye movements will always hold the highest significance. We all have different styles and behaviour so the ease with which people can grasp the lessons is going to differ. Thus, when you are learning the dynamics of speed reading, you should be flexible enough to allow your eye to slowly make the right adjustments as per the new reading speed.

This is different from eye span. It covers a lot more aspects. We are talking of points like:

The number of times you blink your eye.

The duration for which you can gaze at the computer screen or your physical hardbound copies of texts which you wish to read.

The number of words which you can see in a glance which effectively is the eye span.

The ease and fluency with which you can move your eye from one block of text to another.

The amount of strain that is caused to your eye when you fixate yourself to a text.
