Jumping Jacks

Most folks are familiar with this one, but it’s deceptively simple. Do enough of these and you’ll be huffing and puffing!

Stand with your feet together, arms by your sides.

In one motion, jump your feet out to your sides, and raise your arms overhead (I touch my fingertips together at the top).

Return to the starting position.

Mountain Climbers

These are great for building your cardio capacity and core strength. You’ll see.

Assume a plank position on the ground, palms flat, arms extended, legs straight. It’s the top of your pushup position. Keep your body as straight as possible.

Bring one knee towards your chest, then return that leg to its starting position while you bring the other knee up to your chest in a running motion. Two steps count as 1 rep (left, right, ONE, left, right, TWO, etc.)
