Be very careful about scheduling your book if it is not yet complete. Amazon does not like publishers that fail to meet their own deadlines.

My advice is to start off by selecting the “I am ready to release my book now” option until you have a little more experience with KDP and understand how pre-orders may be used to your advantage. Be aware that the book won’t actually be published until you finish filling out the submission forms, and click the “publish” button.

Once the information on this form is complete, click on the Save and Continue button at the bottom. If you want to just save it as a draft to come back to later, there is a button for that too.

If there are any errors or omissions on your form, you will get a notification like this:
