Missing mummies, further caches?

The cached mummies included the bodies not only of pharaohs, but also of queens, royal children and other high-ranking individuals, including the 21st Dynasty Chief Priests of Amun. The evidence from this deposit, poorly documented though the discovery was, combined with the cache in KV 35, allows us to account for the bodies of most of the New Kingdom pharaohs and several of the Chief Priests of the period. But there are noteworthy exceptions. Along with Herihor, a number of the Chief Priests – Menkheperre, Djedkhonsuiuefankh I, Nesubanebdjed (Smendes) II, Pasebkhanu (Psusennes III/IV) – and New Kingdom pharaohs remain unaccounted for, and the absence of these individuals from either of the two surviving caches has led some to conclude that a high-status cemetery of the period remains to be found.
