Peapack, Saturday, February 17

Jay took me to the Port Authority bus station, where I caught the 10:00 a.m. bus to Bernardsville. Peggy was there to take me home.

I was really glad to be back in my little house. After a lovely lunch with Peggy and Phil, I slept most of the afternoon, deeply feeling the weight of the fatiguing week in my body, mind, and spirit.

In the evening, I tried to write a little bit about Adam, but I had to force myself to stay awake. It feels as if I am crying inwardly because of Adam. Every part of my being seems to be mourning his death.
