Standing over the stove stirring a pot of chili, I thought back to the night Luca’s tongue graced my pussy. I wanted to wrap my legs around his head and fuck his gorgeous face. I missed those thoughts. The ones I often had about my boyfriend before I was raped.

“It was my understanding you started the group. Dillon also told my ex-boyfriend and best friend Luca about the monthly zoom chat. However, I wanted to talk to you first.”

She chuckled. “I guess your best friend status is A-1 because our circle’s only open to a select group of women who have a special skill set. Do you have FaceTime capability?”

“Yes.” My heart banged in my chest. I couldn’t believe I was talking to Samantha Latters. She was married to the handsome actor Jacob Latters.

Samantha called on FaceTime. Her beautiful caramel face came into view. She strolled up a gorgeous wide staircase and through double doors that opened to a plush master suite. She sank onto a cream chaise lounge near a picturesque window.

“Charlotte, to the trampoline,” I heard a familiar deep voice say in the distance.

“Yay,” the little voice yelled out at his response.

He was home. Didn’t sound like Jacob would walk into the room anytime soon. He was busy being a dad. Something I’d taken from Luca.

Lexis, focus on the task.

Hopefully, I’d get a chance to meet Jacob Latters one day.

“Back to what I was saying. Not just anyone is invited into the circle. You are either a girlfriend or a wife.”

I smirked. “Five years ago, Luca and I talked about getting married. Then I ran. Now he’s here in Chicago, ready to take me back home.
