Bajoc turned toward the odd-looking human masks of Tetrak and Jestrian. They had to be uncomfortable. “Would you like to have your disguises dropped?”

“No!” Both males barked at once.

Bajoc stared, bewildered at the outburst. “Why ever not?”

Such an odd pair of males.

“We do not wish to frighten Melissa. She does not know of us in any form other than this one,” Jestrian finally admitted.

“Males,” Bajoc barked, knowing he was the best one to relay advice about human females. “Communication is everything in a relationship. You should tell her that you look differently, especially before you are to carry out one last assignment before leaving the planet.”

“Assignment?” Tetrak, being the captain and more aggressive of the two, snarled. He did not wish to be commanded like a lesser officer. However, Bajoc grinned because if the Guardians wanted a ride home, they’d have no choice but to bow to the command of Helian Six. This vessel was their only way home.

“Yes. The human Melissa is to be rewarded for her efforts at housing and keeping you two under wraps. You are to give her a night of pleasure she will never forget. Ordered immediately.”

A dumb look came over both men. Along with mutual bulges.

So crass.

“Not yet,” Bajoc barked, averting his gaze from the eyesore. “We will take the boxes back to her house and gather the rest of her belongings. We will pack them upon return to her place. Then, Tristan and I will return here with the offspring and the remainder of the merchandise. We will stay the night in the ship so you can do your duty. In the morning, report back here for take-off.”

There was a new gleam in the males’ eyes.

“Sir.”

Ha. Captain Tetrak bowed to the command, his earlier animosity forgotten.
