“So,” says Mr. Peterson. “Have you seen any animals?”

Rick is happy. He passes Mr. Peterson his note.

Mr. Peterson reads. He is not happy.

Mr. Peterson’s face turns bright red.

“What is this silliness?” says Mr. Peterson.

“These animals do not even exist.”

Rick nods. They do exist.

He has seen them with his own eyes.

Then Tricky waves his wand.

All of the funny animals come running.

The animals run around in the camp.

The tents are flat now. The children laugh.

Mr. Peterson does not. He is afraid.

Mr. Peterson hides in a well.

When all of the wild animals are gone,

he wants to go home. At once.
