Frustrated and exhausted from his unexpected throw down with Jade, Mills knocked on Farrah’s door. She was sure to have an attitude because he was an hour late but Mills wasn’t beat for her shit either. Seconds later he heard the sound of Farrah’s heels click down the wooden stairs. Pissed she unlocked the door and shot him a look that screamed she hated him.

“What’s up?” Mills kissed her on the cheek and lightly patted her ass.

Caught off guard Farrah stood silent as she watched his back disappear up the steps. Is this nigga serious? she thought, closing the door. Trying her best to keep her cool and not go off, Farrah walked up the steps and entered the living room. With her hands on her hips she watched closely as Mills took a seat on the couch. Closing his eyes he inhaled deep, reopened his eyes, grabbed the DirecTV remote and kicked off his sneakers. Thoroughly confused, Farrah scrunched up her face and said, “What are you doing?”

“We not going, so sit down,” Mills said evenly.

“You say what now?” Farrah leaned her head forward as if she hadn’t heard him right.

“I don’t feel like going no more.” Mills kept his focus on the television screen.

“Okayyyyyy.” Farrah frowned. “But I thought we had plans.”

“We did now we don’t.” Mills flipped through the channels.

“Boy, please.” Farrah chuckled, snapping her fingers. “You better get yo’ life. Do you see what I got on?” She twirled around in a circle.

“Yeah, and it look like yo’ feet hurt,” Mills joked, looking her up and down.

“Ha-ha-ha funny. No, seriously c’mon, babe, we already late as it is.” Farrah tried to pull him up by the arm.

“I said I don’t wanna go.” He resisted.

“Like, are you for real right now?” Farrah stepped back, becoming upset. “What was the fuckin’ point of me even gettin’ dressed then!”

“Please don’t start a bunch of yellin’.” Mills exhaled, emotionally drained. “Just come sit down.” He patted his hand on couch.

“Yo,” Farrah scoffed, perplexed. “Like . . . I don’t even know what to say right now.”

“You really wanna go to the party?” Mills questioned, becoming angry all over again. “C’mon let’s go.” He turned off the television, pissed.

“Are you serious right now?” Farrah asked, shocked by his behavior.

“You wanna go so c’mon let’s go!” He grabbed one of his sneakers.

“I wouldn’t go wit’ you now even if you got on all fours and crawled to that muthafucka!” Farrah snarled.

“Well then I guess we’re not going ’cause ain’t no way in hell that’s happening,” Mills shot back sarcastically.

“You know what I’m gonna do? I’ma go upstairs and when I come back down please be gone.” Farrah walked toward the steps, trying her best to remain calm.

“What?” Mills screwed up his face.

“You heard me. Put back on your sneakers and bounce ’cause I do not, and I repeat do not, have time for this shit,” Farrah stressed. “You only got one time to send me to voice mail, boo boo, and you late! Nah,” she said after a pause.
