A bigger challenge for the developers was writing the code for the shader, which simulated the dark and therefore imitated how the night lamp would look in real bedrooms.

An intensive iterative process of engineering with a lot of prototyping and testing for the visualization followed; print-files or technical challenges such as those relating to the LED light were solved.

During the final briefing, Twikit integrated the configurator into the platform and had to design custom features. This was challenging because it was the first time they had worked with multicolor design. In this phase, the team also made the custom integration into the Magento platform of Mr. Maria. At the end of the process, Twikit tested the experience of the configurator from order to delivery and user experience. They made tweaks where necessary and made sure the quality was up to standard.

The programming was done in Javascript and Node in order to have the same code for the browser and the server. The collaboration was a project with a full front-end integration plug-in that ran in the Mr. Maria website through Magento, written in PHP.
