This majestic rock outcropping is seen from a rest area at the 8-km mark of the Mission Creek Greenway –Ziprick Road to Field Road Section hike.

18. Trepanier Creek Greenway

Seasons: Spring, summer, late fall

Trailhead coordinates: N49 47.157 W119 43.100

Directions to trailhead: From the west end of the William R. Bennett Bridge, travel approximately 20 km on Highway 97 to the town of Peachland. As you enter Peachland, watch for Clements Cres. on your right. There is a traffic light with a gas station on the right side of the highway at this intersection. Turn right onto Clements Cres. and follow it for 230 m. Parallel park on the street. The trailhead is on the left (west) side of a school.

This walk through a forest of Douglas fir and ponderosa pine provides fantastic views of Trepanier Creek and its canyon, as well as providing a little bit of history.
