The next morning, I was on a flight to Orlando, Florida. The historic Parliament House resort (which has sadly since been demolished) booked me to host an election night party. Wait … you know what? Fuck this. You guys already know how this shitty part of the story turns out. You did not come to this book to relive all of that mess! Anyway, suffice it to say, the “party” quickly turned into a wake. I told the DJ to cut my music and kill my mic, jumped off the stage, and spent the rest of the night getting sloshed with the audience. I woke up in my hotel room the next morning still in disbelief and with a massive hangover. Everything was about to change—in my world and for the world at large.
