Part Five: Rapture

The world was spinning out of control for Pariah.

Her entire body felt disconnected and unresponsive from her mind. Her arms and legs were seemingly indifferent to all her commands to move or react, instead hanging in limp supplication. The effect she was experiencing was the unabated result of the tranquiliser she had received mere moments earlier, and it had acted quickly to shut down the muscles throughout her supple body. Even blinking and moving her eyes now required great effort, while taking in each breath had become a genuine task as her heart rate had slowed down to dangerous levels.

Her body was no longer her own.

The heroine's mind was not in a much fitter state than that of her body. The second dose of Rapture she had just been administered had taken away the sense of lucidity that she had been earning back since her first exposure. Now her skin was alight with heightened sensitivity, and the room around her span and warped in ways that made her feel incredibly dizzy. Her concentration drifted continuously from what was really happening in the room into bizarre and non-sensible interpretations of what was happening. The walls around her no longer seemed firm or distinct, they now seemed like a churning ocean of changing images which seemed to reflect, or even direct, her thoughts.

Some were images of her past and memories of her early sexual experiences, while others were images of secret fantasies she had indulged on lonesome nights. More still were purely hedonistic sights which she had no real connection with but must have seen at one time or another in her life. It was as if her entire mental album of all things sensual was playing out around her, directing her confused mind towards the comfort of pleasurable experience. She could feel it as well as see it, though it was difficult for her to put her finger on exactly how she was feeling it. All she knew was that the drug was affecting her senses, activating the parts of her that processed sensation and sending a continual buzz throughout her body which stoked her libido.

It was a devastating combination, making her feel vulnerable in ways that she hadn't experienced since she was a child – if she had ever experienced them at all.

Despite it all, Pariah held on as best she could to her grasp of reality. Through the tumult of the drugs she still knew what was happening, and she still knew that she had to fight. Her life depended on it.

Ugh, come on Evelyn. MOVE.

'Grrrghh,' she groaned, vocalising her effort as she commanded her body and mind to fight.

The young goth twins crowded around the heroine, pressing themselves into her, supporting her weight from in front and behind. Lara and Alice were both in worn condition after their battle with the heroine, having come close to being defeated at the limits of their endurance. It did not matter to them now - they had earned their prize and they were now solely focused on enjoying the fruits of their labour.
