How do women’s genitals look?
Many men had ambivalent feelings about the looks of women’s vulvas. On the other hand, some men liked them very much and offered beautiful descriptions. The range of answers covered every attitude imaginable:
‘Better than men’s.’ ‘Like “raw flesh” – a horrible mismatch.’
‘I wish they were dry. Moisture bothers me. It looks like the skin of an old woman on a young one.’
‘Gorgeous.’
‘They look mysterious.’
‘Inviting.’
‘They look hairy, sensual, puffy, excited, red and full. A pretty furry pet animal.’
‘Ugly but appealing and nice to touch.’
‘Like a damp rose, petals blossoming.’
‘Strange and compelling, inviting and ripe for explorations.’
Some men described why they liked its appearance:
‘I love my wife’s genitals. They look big, pink, wet, warm, ready for fun, ready to respond to me, mysterious, powerful, something to explore. Wow!’
‘I think women’s genitals are about as lovely as something on this earth can get. I love the way they taste and smell. There have been some genitals about which I held a near-religious feeling; this was because they were attached to women for whom I felt a deep love.’
‘I think a woman’s – my friend’s when I peeled off her pants – genitalia are so beautifully shaped and designed! What was very nice was that her pubic hair was very blond and the moon shone in the window as I put my head between her legs.’
