That’s the cricket’s unique role in our ecosystem, and the whole world relies on it to bring those nutrients back into the earth. Oliver implores us to remember that we all have our own “inexplicable way” to contribute to the world around us.

You, too, have your own role, one that uses your unique gifts—all that you are, know, and do. In the coming chapters, you’ll discover those gifts and how to start using them.
