purple plastic octopus.

I reached in to grab the octopus.

R-I-P!

The octopus now had four arms.

But that was plenty.

I held up the octopus.

“You found second base!”

Oliver said. “But how

did you know it was there?”

“Your octopus’s arms are long

and curling,” I said.

“That makes it easy

for them to catch

onto something.

That was a clue.
