Chapter Seventeen

DAY 15- THE NEW VISITOR’S TANTRUM

We both walked out of the cottage to see some glamorous pale woman with long and wavy black hair in a revealing red dress covered by a black cloak stomping around on my property in her high black boots. On second glance, her breasts were large enough to fill out her dress nicely, though they’re not overly large. Her eyes were green and very piercing as well. Okay, I kept going back to her chest—the designs on the chest left some gaps, showing some of her pale skin.

“Garoonie! There you are, you thief!”

All the good feelings I had disappeared as I walked down from the porch along with Garoonie.

“Garoonie, do you know this woman?”

“That I do, My Lord.“ Garoonie scowled at the woman. “What are you doing here now, Giselle? You ruined a nice moment.”

“I ruined a moment? Don’t turn this around on me, Garoonie. YOU ruined my day when you stole my fridge from me.”

“Hold on. What?” I muttered.

“I did not,” Garoonie adamantly stated, folding her arms and standing firm.

“Yes, you did!” She pointed at the fridge. “Look! It’s right there! You came to my house, ripped it from the wall, dumped out the contents, and took it!”

“Garoonie, is that true?” I asked, my voice as chilly as a tundra.

“Yes, I did that,” she said, all smiles. “The forest fowls were more of a challenge.”

“See! You did steal from me, Garoonie!”

She turned back to the Giselle person. “I didn’t steal from you.”

I interjected. “Garoonie, it sounds like you stole from her.”

Garoonie was aghast. “My Lord!”

“Garoonie, you bothered this woman.”

“But she’s weaker than me.”

I raised a brow. “Pardon me?”

“I didn’t steal from her, My Lord.”

“No one follows your battle-addict rules, Garoonie!” Giselle yelled. “We live in a sophisticated society! You stole from me.”

My eyes were on the flippant Garoonie once more. “Garoonie, I need you to explain the situation better.”

“My Lord, I beat in her in a fight seven times in a row, therefore, everything she owns is mine. Those are the rules—”

“THOSE ARE THE RULES OF YOU HEATHENS!”

Garoonie stuck her tongue out at the woman. “You’re just upset because your arm fell off when you struck me that one time.”

Giselle’s mouth fell wide open, and it took her a few moments to recover. “I’m upset because you’re an ugly ball of muscle, you crazy dog! You’re hurting my eyes!”

“No, I’m not!” Garoonie shot back. She smirked at Giselle. “My Lord says I’m the most beautiful thing he’s seen.” Garoonie’s tail whipped back and forth as she smugly looked down on the irate Giselle. “Do you have such a man commenting on your beauty?”

“I most certainly don’t have some strange lunatic commenting on any of me. And you!” Giselle looked at me like I had wronged her. “You need to get your eyes checked. Who in the Realm would think that is attractive?”

That remark hit a bit of a sore spot I didn’t know I had. True, Garoonie was slightly muscular, but she pulled it off.
