Brigadier General Chory and Dale Hewson spent the day with the Defense Secretary. First, there were some briefings. Then, of course, he was brought around and introduced to everyone.

Lisa and Marie had a lot to explain about since they were now managing the world’s most elaborate and sophisticated cyberattacks, all without their targets realizing that. The data was then examined by some software programs which Marie had developed, prior to being turned over to Major Khan and his team of translators. The software was useful in narrowing down the data to a much smaller subset which needed to be examined by them.

When Dale introduced Gene and Amanda Tremblay, he told the Defense Secretary how they were the werewolves who had brought Missy with them to meet the former Alpha of the New England Werewolf Pack. Then they all watched that video showing how Missy had challenged and defeated Brody Billiscombe.

When the video stopped playing, the Defense Secretary said, “Well, that was shocking. I guess I can appreciate now why Dale said this was such a big responsibility for Missy.” Looking at Gene and Amanda, he said, “And, from what Chad Vineberg told me, that has led to some of you werewolves assisting Missy with convincing the WIJO terrorists that she and our other witches are demons.”

Gene smiled and said, “We do make some rather convincing hell hounds, if you’d like to see those videos. Chad was impressed.”

“No thanks, I think I’ve watched all I need to see,” said the Defense Secretary. “And, since it’s the full moon tonight, I assume that you two will be joining Missy and the rest of your pack for a run down at that state forest which her home borders on, correct?”

“Yes, sir!” exclaimed Gene and Amanda together. Both had big smiles on their faces. They had only stayed that day to meet with the Defense Secretary and were now indeed very anxious to be on their way down to the Missy Mansion.
