Self-delusion is alive, well, and prospering in

Texas No-Limit Hold’em!

Pocket Queens (QQ)

Pocket queens are a little trickier to play than pocket kings, but they are still a super-premium hand.

Let’s look at the probability of an ace or king hitting the flop when you have pocket queens and one ace, and one king have been dealt to two other players. With 46 (52 – 2 – 4) cards remaining in the deck there are six cards that can hurt you. 46 - 6 = 40.

40/46 cards can’t hurt you on the first card that hits the flop.
