My favorite way to get photography done for our studios is to trade massage for a photo session. Itâs absolutely worth it to do this, as youâll be able to use these images on your website as well as across social media. Outtakes from your shoot can be great for blogs, newsletters, and IG stories.
CONTACT INFO
User experience, sometimes referred to as âUXâ, means not making your clients search for what they need to learn. Include your phone number or some sort of contact method on every single page of the site, ideally in the header or footer. **A note about your phoneâ please do not use your personal cell phone number. There are a ton of free resources, like Google Voice, and other VOIP services, that allow you to have a separate and special work line thatâs meant for work alone. Itâs so important to have separation here, because in the next chapter we are going to discuss how to never ever miss a business call again by forwarding your work calls to a remote virtual receptionist. A quick note about email: if youâre using Hotmail or AOL, I know youâre 50+ years old. Upgrade to a more universal address, like Gmail, for the sake of professionalism.
KEYWORDS
Make sure that your website uses all of the keywords that someone might be searching for. Include âproudly serving __â and list the areas your clients are likely to be coming from. If there are tourist destinations or hotels youâd like referrals from, include that too (as clients may search for âmassage near _ hotelâ. The website should be clean and sparse enough to easily navigate the information, so we donât want too much additional content. People have short attention spans, so keep it to the point. If youâd like to include even more keywords, blogging is a perfect way to make lots of keyword-filled content that your potential audience is looking for.
