The first outcome is unchanged and untransformed lives – people sitting on church pews, literally being pastored to hell. The devil will never bother them because they are already in his hands.

What do I mean by that? The average Christian of today has the same financial principles as the unbeliever. Enter into business with the average church member and he will dupe you as any unbeliever would.

Have financial dealings with the average church member and he will dupe you as any unbeliever would. The believer would stab you on the back the same way an unbeliever would. He will betray you the same way the unbeliever would. How many brothers have relationships with sisters and they keep breaking their hearts just the way unbelievers break the hearts of their girlfriends?

There are unchanged and untransformed lives, literally being pastored to hell.

It is like a mad man saying, “Make me sleep but do not take away the madness. Give me sedative but let my madness remain.” What we have done to so many people in the church is that we have given them medicine to calm down, but the insanity is still there; the iniquity is still inside.

It is like a dead man saying, “Change my clothes but let me remain in the coffin, decorated.”

What we have done to many in the church is like a doctor giving paracetamol to a hypertensive patient to calm down the headache he has; without touching the hypertension. The disease and symptoms are intact.

There are unchanged and untransformed lives. What a tragedy! Every pastor must know that God has his continent, nation, community and his generation at heart; and He wants to change people.
