Amy: (observing Chris walk to the parking lot after church, kids in tow who are hitting each other): Chris sure has a handful with those kids.
Barb: Yeah, and to imagine that she homeschools them and has to be with them 24-7!
Amy: I would never be able to homeschool my kids.
Barb: Me, neither. I love `em dearly, but I don't mind seeing them board the bus some mornings. I wonder if her husband helps out much.
Amy: I shouldn't say this, but I've always thought he was a little odd. You know, in terms of social skills.... maybe he was homeschooled himself?
Amy and Barb: (laugh)
