Chapter 17 â Morgan Freeman
âGOOD MORNING,â MEGAN SAID AS SHE traced her hand across Carterâs chest.
âMorning.â He smiled and looked at the beautiful woman lying next to him. He wondered how he would feel the following morning, but now that the sun decided to rise, he felt happy. âThat was pretty fun, huh?â he asked as he looked straight ahead, not wanting to share his morning breath. He hated it when he watched a movie and a couple would start kissing in the morning, as real life was nothing like that. He wanted to take a shower, brush his teeth, and then eat breakfast with his new friend.
âThat was really fun. I like you, Carter.â
âI like you too. What was your name again?â
âOh, youâre hilarious.â She tickled his side a bit, and he kissed her forehead.
âI know your name, I was just teasing. So, Megan,â he emphasized her name, âhow about I get cleaned up and then we can have some breakfast together?â
âThat sounds nice. Do you want to go out or eat in?â
âLetâs eat in. I can cook if you want me to.â He ran his hand across her head and pulled her hair back. He enjoyed her bare skin against his and looked forward to removing the covers to remind himself of the previous night. âThis is my first time doing this, you know.â
âWow, so Iâm your first, huh?â
âNot like that. I mean my first hook up on the first night. Iâve never done that before.â
âI feel so special.â She kissed his arm in between thoughts and moved her leg over his. âIâve only done something like this once before, and it was when I was your age. That was just a one night stand, and I didnât like it. Iâm not like that, I hope you know that. I know what we did makes it seem different, but I like you, Carter.â
âI like you too.â He lifted the blanket from his body and stood to his feet. âWant to take a shower with me?â He stood there fully naked and grinned toward the older woman.
âSounds good.â She smiled and quickly jumped out of bed. They held hands as they walked to the shower. Carter sensed that she was more than merely a fling. She was exactly what he needed, and he didnât think once about Nicole except for the fact that he now knew that they were finished. There was nothing she could say or do to make him stay. They enjoyed their time in the hot water together as they took turns washing each otherâs bodies and sharing the space underneath the water as it was cold when the water didnât entirely cover them.
âThis is another first for me,â he said, eagerly lathering her round butt cheeks.
âYou know what, I think it is for me as well. The shower is normally me time, so you should feel pretty special.â
âI think you can tell that I do,â he laughed out loud a little, and they continued to act like a couple on their honeymoon.
