Bean hurried to the path that runs parallel to the Outer Circle toward the Clarence Gate, and lifting his eyes to scan the green prospect and the lake edge, searching still for the round-headed man, saw a rainbow form itself in a brilliant arc, one end in Madame Tussaud’s and the other far away in Camden Town.
