I’ve been waiting for Miya to show up for three hours.

Akito told me that they had left the apartment. He kept me apprised of their movements the entire day. Even the fact that she has been feeling like someone has been watching her.

Akito didn’t see anyone, but he also didn’t search for the person. Instead, he took Miya home and protected her like he should.

I combed through the footage and found a few men who had lingering gazes, but it was hard to see if they were a threat.

Miya is a knockout. Of course she’s going to draw attention from the opposite sex.

Still, I have some guys checking out the men I saw on the tapes.

As for Miya, she’s a witch. She has to be.

First, Kado pledged his allegiance to her, disobeying a direct order from me to protect her last night. Now Akito cannot stop singing her praises.

If it wasn’t for the fact that Akito assured me he thinks of her like a little sister, I would have had to murder the guy.

Whatever she’s doing, she’s winning my men over one by one. I don’t like it.

Why can she be so polite to them but a complete brat to me?

As soon as Akito texts me, telling me she’s here, I tell him to bring her to me.

I watch as she argues with him on the camera but eventually lets him lead her here.

She knocks on the door, so I call out for her to come in.

“Thank you, Akito. I’ll walk her down to the floor when we are done here. You can meet her there.”

He nods before shutting the door behind him.

“Why did you demand I be brought here first thing? He wouldn’t even let me put my things down,” Miya hisses at me.

It makes my dick grow hard. I love the fight in her.

“I gave you an order, and you disobeyed me. Did you think I would forget? So far, you’ve earned two punishments. One for disobeying me and the second for hanging up on me.”

She backs up as I stand and move around my desk.

“I’m not a child you can punish. I make my own decisions. Outside of these walls, I don’t have to do what you say.” She crosses her arms over her chest.

I laugh, rubbing my chin. “Yeah. That’s not going to work for me.”

I keep stalking her until her back is against my door. She moves to turn around and open it, but I pounce before she can make it.

Her face is against the door as I press against her. Grabbing her purse, I toss it to the side.

Then I peel off her jacket, letting it fall to the floor.

“Kenji, we can’t. This is wrong. You’re my boss.”

Her repetitive words to ward me off are starting to annoy me. Instead of giving in to her blatant denial of how aroused she is right now, I push against her harder.

“Do you feel unsafe right now?” I growl into her ear before nipping at it.

She gasps, “No.
