The "Horgenstern Estate" as it was called, wasn't the biggest house in town, far from it. It was a simple 3-floor family house with a gated in surroundings and a well-kept lawn. There were always guards on duty 24 hours a day, and if you didn't know better, you'd think it was the home of the Coldwater's mayor or the state's governor, not a regular state politician. Sig Horgenstern had been a mover and shaker in the state for quite a few years and he had a lot of influence in the city as well. He also was well known for some shady connections with illegal crime bosses and less than desirable business interests. Over budget construction projects, state-funded empty land scams, "city renewal" projects that did more damage than good to anyone, all with his name attached. People would make accusations, but he never spent any time in prison. His wife Marie was almost as well known, usually for being stuffy, cold, and not exactly a warm figure those of the state could look up to. kRaven himself remembered the speech she delivered after their daughter's death as one that felt contrived and written for her and not from the heartbreak a mother would feel.

This early in the morning, nearly 4 AM, the place was mostly dark and peaceful, with a few security members looking over things but not much else going on. A few cars were passing by when a dirty white family car putted up to the front gate before the engine audibly died. The driver's door flung open.

"Aw shit!"

The young woman's expletive sounded out as the two guards looked at each other.

"The damn thing died! Can you guys give me a hand?"

Both men noticed the pretty young woman with the blue streak in her hair. It was very early in the morning, usually a time where nothing happens and they are bored out of their minds.

"Yeah sure," one of the men said as they both went to look over the car.

On the other side of the property, however, someone else was stopping by as well. kRaven was just off the well-kept property scanning the area. He visualized the security measures and how many people were around the area. He saw the car and the three people out front. The house was covered in security systems and cameras. kRaven smirked a bit. With what he heard about Sig and his dealings, he had a lot of reason to be paranoid. Inside the house, he saw several people up and moving around. Guess after hearing of what was going on at the police headquarters, Sig couldn't sleep either. Guards filled the three-floor house and besides handguns, they were carrying flash bombs and other weapons as well. He traced a lot of the security to a room on the third floor where it looked like it was a control room and head of security, but it looked like who he was after was in a large room on the second floor behind an overly locked door.
